PATH is starting a rooftop garden for their permanent supportive housing residents. This will be a plant-dominated environment purposefully designed to facilitate interaction with the healing elements of nature. Gardening and horticultural therapy can reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression and are a great way for their permanent supportive housing residents to grow their own herbs, fruits, vegetables and flowers.
Volunteers will be putting together plant beds, designing the garden and meeting on a weekly basis as they start this new gardening group. They need your to help us bring this garden to life!
