Colorado Springs Volunteer Opportunity!
Savvy Senior Grocery Delivery is a BEAUTIFUL program that was born in response to the pandemic and a desire for our most vulnerable neighbors to be taken care of and kept safe.
Thursday Every week, four AMAZING volunteers, load up their cars with prepared grocery boxes for seniors on their routes and deliver them safely to their doorstep with a smile (under a mask of course)
Weekly, Thursdays 1:30 PM pick up at our office 917 E Moreno Ave
Each route has 4-6 seniors and takes 30 minutes to an hour to complete.
You don’t even require a large vehicle!

Mission Statement
Food to Power is a non-profit organization whose goal is to create a more just and less wasteful food system. We facilitate the sustainable redistribution of food "waste" to agencies that feed hungry, homeless, and low-income populations while educating communities about and advocating for food justice and the reduction of structural poverty.
Description
Food to Power functions through a volunteer based direct redistribution programming, picking up food that would otherwise be thrown out and delivering that food directly to an organization that will disperse that food to those in need. These volunteers mainly deliver the food by bicycle.
