Computer Lab Monitor in the Homeless Resource Day Center. The HRDC was created to meet some of the needs of the individuals finding themselves homeless after the impact of COVID 19. People can take showers, do laundry and use our computers to update their resume or apply for jobs, seek apartments and other needs that are typically done on line. Lab Monitors will assist those that may need help and monitor others for time and safety.

The Salvation Army of Lee, Hendry and Glades Counties includes many locations offering multiple programs and services. Facilities include a 182 bed residential shelter, Outreach Services Center and Crisis Management, the Crossroads Center for residential substance abuse porgram, Outreach Centers in Bonita Springs ,LaBelle, Moorehaven, Clewiston and Lehigh Acres, a Worship and Administration center and transitional housing for graduate clients. Programs include a comprehensive care program, family shelter, the Crossroads faith-based substance abuse program, a medical respite unit and primary care clinic for the homeless and uninsured, a correctional services program, a food services program which includes evening meals for the homeless and needy, crisis management for those on the verge of homelessness, a Christmas Cheer outreach ministry to disadvantaged homes in the area, summer camps and more. These social service programs help thousands of people each year and are very rewarding to be involved with.
