If you are interested in having a major impact on inequality and suffering in the world, ROCKBlue is offering an opportunity to use your experience and heart to make a difference.
ROCKBlue is an international non-profit with a mission to provide water and sanitation to over 1 billion of the world’s poor that currently lack these basic, life-giving, essentials. Founded in 2013 and a registered charity in the US and South Africa, ROCKBlue is currently in five countries, working with 18 towns/cities that provide water and sanitation to over 5 million people. You can find out more about us on our website.
We will be launching an our latest Initiative this year, called ACORN. The purpose of ACORN is to help a) water service providers (WSPs) such as utilities and municipalities as well as b) financial institutions, foundations and aid agencies. The WSP's need large capital finance (money) and the financial institutions, foundations and aid agencies only want to provide money if the conditions are acceptable. ACORN will bridge the gap between the two. That is, helping WSP's improve their attractiveness and credit worthiness as well as reporting, and helping those with the money to become more comfortable with loans and grants. The net result - growth and improvement of the WSP's and more people served with water and sanitation.
ROCKBlue has an immediate opening for an ACORN - Volunteer.
