ORGANIZATION: OMI - National Youth Week

National Youth Week

We have virtual teams that support youth organization. We have a Social media, event, and newsletter team. We are looking for College students that want to learn leadership and business skills. This does count for community service. Our meetings are on Saturday morning and mid Afternoon. We do ask for 5 hours volunteer time a month. We have a lot of Fun and are making an impact on Mental Health. Come join us!

Mission Statement

Our Mission Statement The purpose of OMI is to instill resiliency skills through education and developing life skills to "at-risk" youth in hopes that they will become productive members of society. Opportunities will be provided that focus on the entire spirit soul and body. We are also launching National Youth Week kicking off in 2017. This years National Youth Week is June 13-19, 2020.

Description

OMI is a Corporation comprised of educators, business owners, financial consultants, licensed counselors, sociologists & ministers. We have been established since June 2003. We provide Counseling, Tutoring, and Mentoring. We teach young people how to find their passion and go after it with their whole heart which is their mind, will, and emotions this alleviates doubt, self pity, and depression as a part of our Soul Development department. Seminars for youth and parents on Anger Management, Budgeting Finances, Nutrition Awareness, Self Control, Job Preparation, & Entrepreneurship. It is our desire to bring a message of hope and encouragement to the young people in and we are in need of your support. We are opening a location where we effectively demonstrate how to overcome the violence, drug, and alcohol use that surround them and try to infiltrate the community by showing them means in which they can get involved. This location will motivate, inspire, and allow them the opportunity to engage in positive decision-making skills that will have an ever-changing impact.
