OMI is a Corporation comprised of educators, business owners, financial consultants, licensed counselors, sociologists & ministers. We have been established since June 2003. We provide Counseling, Tutoring, and Mentoring. We teach young people how to find their passion and go after it with their whole heart which is their mind, will, and emotions this alleviates doubt, self pity, and depression as a part of our Soul Development department. Seminars for youth and parents on Anger Management, Budgeting Finances, Nutrition Awareness, Self Control, Job Preparation, & Entrepreneurship. It is our desire to bring a message of hope and encouragement to the young people in and we are in need of your support. We are opening a location where we effectively demonstrate how to overcome the violence, drug, and alcohol use that surround them and try to infiltrate the community by showing them means in which they can get involved. This location will motivate, inspire, and allow them the opportunity to engage in positive decision-making skills that will have an ever-changing impact.

OMI is a tremendous organization indeed! I have been working with them to produce community fundraisers and assorted other benefit type events over the past several years. And my responsibilities have progressively increased from volunteering as a waiter to arranging to pick up food, clothes, furniture and other valuables as well as have significantly more contact with the core leadership of the group. All in all, all of our hard work and dedication is for the kids and this non-profit has kept this at front and center, organizing with exactness, communicating with precision, and continuously expanding their vision as they continue to gather more momentum and resources around this remarkable movement that I'm confident will only springboard into an organization capable of reaching more and more youths and their families for many days, months and years to come!!! Join the movement! What you're doing is making a true difference locally in the lives of those who need it the VERY MOST! =)

Omi is a fabulous orghanization!!!! I have been volunteering with them for well over ten years. I have seen them touch the world with an insurmountable amount of love and dedication. This event on August 29th was very well organized. The Ceo, Lori, gave me ample opportunity to take the lead and valued all of my input!!! This is only the beginning for OMI. Everyone should join join this superb organization, because it is helping so many people!!!

this organization was very organized, it had a lot of volunteers that were very helpful. and it was for a good cause. They had free food, free backpack for kids that needed them, great entertainment with music, a jumping bubble for the kids. All together this event was a lot of fun,

My volunteer experience with OMI has been phenomenal! My rapport with them has really blossomed. The people I worked with were down to earth and sociable. They all worked well with one another, keeping in mind that: the main reason why we are here is to help kids in need. I admit when I first started it was slow, but as I continued, Board members began to notice my talents; this eventually led to better assignments. Overall, I would recommend this organization to anyone who shares the same vision of wanting to help.

This is the best "organization" in all of NJ, OMI change my life forever:) I have been telling everybody to volunteer with OMI all year long. So far i have gotten 100 people to Volunteer for the next event in just two days. Last Sunday was one of the best days of my life, i am so glad to be apart of OMI.. Shawn Capers

This was a volunteer experience in which I didn't feel valued and my ideas didn?t matter. No time was dedicated to creating an environment of organization or communication that respected both the volunteer and their input. I was not given an assignment that was a good fit for my skills but I don't think OMI thought to consider that vital part of volunteer work. Ultimately, OMI has their heart in the right place but lacks the vital experience and strong leadership it needs.
