The great thing about working in a group is the amount of work you can accomplish in little time. Often we receive groups that raise money back home and then come to Nepal to volunteer. We also provide special 'experience Nepal’ programs where you get to see a side of Nepal that normal tourists don’t see through home stays, village visits, health clinic observations and more!
About Annapurna Base Camp Trek and Volunteering - 4 Weeks
Annapurna base camp trek is a wonderful walk-through diverse scenery and culture complete with rich mountain views, terraced fields, quaint Gurung villages and a wide variety of flora and fauna. Mt. Annapurna (8091m) of Nepal is the 10th highest mountain in the world and the expedition to its base camp, which is at 4130m/13549ft height, is one of the most popular walks on earth. Moreover, we reach our destination via Mt. Machapuchhre (Fishtail) which is revered by the Nepalese for its unique beauty. Description
At the height of the conflict in Nepal in 2004 we gathered a team of Nepalese development workers. We also invited foreign social activists and foreign volunteers to come and help. Together we combat the shortages in education, healthcare and women’s rights. We believe we can do this quicker and more efficiently than the existing international organizations. Our work has taken on a new dimension following the devastation of the 2015 earthquake. We have since doubled our efforts to sustain and increase our humanitarian projects.
