Do you love to create order? Have a passion for organizing? We need you! The Native American Youth and Family Center is in the process of moving our clothing closet to a larger space temporarily and we need help organizing the clothing so that it is easier for our staff to search and find clothing for their clients.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Sort through donations
- Help track supply, get rid of overstock, and determine what we need
- Organize the closet by type of clothing in their designated place
- Maintain COVID safety protocols while volunteering. Generally volunteers will work alone in the Clothing Closet and other rooms as part of our safety protocols, but there will be some physically distant contact with staff.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong organization skills
- Comfortable working independently or with a small group of other volunteers
- No experience required
TIME:
- Volunteer shifts are available on Tuesday and Fridays afternoons (times will vary) and Wednesdays between 9:00 am - 5 pm. Hours are flexible.

Offered free of charge to participants, our four programmatic areas include our alternative high school, the Many Nations Academy, Youth and Education Services, Family Services and Community Economic Development Services.

- One two-hour shift is the minimum time commitment.
- Children welcome with parents or other caregivers. All volunteers must wear masks or face coverings (which we can provide) and follow physically distancing and other COVID safety protocols while onsite.
