Make a positive difference in the life of an actively dying hospice patient. Vigil Volunteers receive special training to become part of the patient's holistic hospice team. As a Vigil Volunteer, you provide comfort and a peaceful presence when the patient's death is imminent.
We emphasize comfort, dignity and respect. We believe that centering our focus on both the patient and the family enables us to provide the best care.
Must pass a drug screen, background check, TB test, and complete orientation and training at your own pace.

We are a local hospice that supports patients and their families in the Denver area and Castle Rock communities. Our volunteers provide companionship visits, playing or listening to music the patient enjoys, reading to the patient, writing letters for patients, doing life review, providing Veteran-to-Veteran visits, Veteran pinning ceremonies, bad dad jokes, Reiki, Legacy Projects, etc., etc. Have a talent you'd like to share with a hospice patient?
