Cadence Hospice is located in the city of Orange. Cadence Hospice provides hospice services to patients and their families across Orange County. Recently, we have expanded our service territory in parts of LA county, San Bernardino county and the Inland Empire. We are actively seeking volunteers who when needed will visit with patients to provide socialization, companionship, caregiver relief etc. Within our patient care volunteer program we also have expanded services: life review, pet peace of mind, music enrichment, and so much more.
Hospice is a type of care that is available to patients and their families who are facing a life-limiting illness. Hospice services are provided wherever the patient calls home.
If you have even 1 hour a week, that 1 hour would benefit a hospice patient and improve their quality of life. Hospice volunteering can be done around your schedule and availability!
Hospice is federally funded and establishes criteria to become a hospice volunteer. Please reach out to us to find out what the requirements are. We would love to have you and positively impact the lives of our patients. We look forward to hearing from you!

Description
Hospice care is about living! When a patient is diagnosed with a life limiting illness, the patient and family may become overwhelmed with planning, emotions, questions, and fear. The Traditions Health hospice team provides support and guidance to patients and their families to address each of these needs throughout their end of life journey. We walk with the patient and their loved ones each step of the way, providing the education and care they need to have the best quality of life possible.
Our team is passionate about building relationships with our patients and their loved ones so that we know what matters most to them. Whether the need is physical, spiritual or emotional, our compassionate hospice experts are available to provide the necessary support. Comfort and dignity are the anchors of hospice care. Our clinicians are highly skilled at recognizing and managing symptoms early, in most cases allowing the patient to remain comfortable at home throughout the end of their life.
