The Beckley VA Medical Center is in need of a VA Volunteer Services Representative.
Our VAVS volunteers help greet, escort patients, refreshment cart support, lab runner, clinical administrative volunteer, recreation therapy assistant, information desk worker, patient visitor, MyHealtheVetKiosk guide, pharmacy assistant, hospice/respite care/No Veteran Dies Alone volunteer, special event support, transportation program driver, professional medical volunteer, and many more.

Description
The American Red Cross Central Appalachia Region includes all of West Virginia, plus counties in Ohio, Kentucky, Maryland and Virginia. We serve our communities every day by responding to local disasters, encouraging life-saving blood donations, preparing our communities for emergencies and providing care and comfort to an ill or injured service member or veteran or support to a military family member. 90% of our workforce are volunteers and it is through the time and care of ordinary people that we can do extraordinary things.
