A Child for All ("ACFA") is a U.S. non-profit organization with current operations in Bamako, the capital of Mali in West Africa. ACFA provides a safe and loving environment for vulnerable children who had been living on the streets with no future. Ten years ago twelve children were welcomed into the home that our founder grew up in and they receive the nourishment, education, health care and attention necessary to thrive.


Given the growing number of vulnerable children in the area, ACFA has recently opened the Zorokoro Children's Complex in the village of Zorokoro with a goal of helping 100 more vulnerable children. Only 45 minutes from Bamako, the Zorokoro Children’s Complex now has a dormitory where nine toddlers ages 3-5 year olds are living with room for more children. The first three classrooms of the ACFA school are built and the school has opened for pre-K and kindergarten for the ACFA toddlers as well as children from the surrounding villages. Underway also at the Complex are plans for a healthcare clinic, a library and computer lab and a sports complex. ACFA's vision to empower Mali's children to achieve a future they deserve is only continued by the work of our supporters and volunteers across the globe.


VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY:

ACFA is looking for an independent worker with a passion for development and fundraising strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the philanthropic community and of nonprofit fundraising. The volunteers will be part of the fundraising committee of the ACFA Board of Directors. ACFA needs volunteers with ideas, enthusiasm and time to help a very worthy cause.
