Is this when YOU start helping at neighborhood Red Cross blood drives, where volunteers are needed welcoming & registering donors? (Admit it, you always wanted the big desk.) Or maybe you like the open road, transporting blood to area hospitals and Red Cross laboratories? Literally delivering the gift of life!Perhaps this is when you learn how to respond to local disasters - mostly house fires - so you can be there for your neighbors and community when they need you most.
There are also opportunities in Communications, Volunteer Services, Community Outreach & Youth Education, Operations & Logistics, Service to the Armed Forces, and so much more! It is always up to YOU based on your interests and schedule. You only sign up for shifts that work for you. Most volunteers work one or two shifts a month. There are even things you can from home.
