Provide emergency assistance to people affected by a disaster.
-Key Responsibilities-
Respond to disaster scenes and other emergencies to offer assistance to those affected by the incident
Interview and assist individuals and families with their disaster-caused emergency needs
Operate shelter/evacuation centers, provide mass feeding and distribute relief supplies
Attend training classes on an ongoing basis
When a disaster happens during your on-call shift, you will receive a call from the Emergency Communications Center (Bridge) to see if you’re available to respond.

Must be 18 years of age or older Willingness to interact with potential clients, often in high-stress situations Attention to detail Flexibility to respond to disasters on short notice Reliable transportation
