We are looking for someone to build and maintain a website that will contain information for CERT Volunteers regarding training opportunities and the ability to download information useful in emergencies. The site will also be accessed by members of the public seeking to understand what CERT does.
Also looking for someone to establish and maintain our presence on a variety of other platforms such as Facebook, Linkedin, Volunteer Recruiting sites, our YouTube channel, etc.
Lastly looking for someone who can remotely maintain and update our OneCallNow supplemental emergency alerting program for residents in Northern Sonoma County. This includes sending alerts as needed and working on the database design and elements.
Any volunteer wishing to do so will receive free CERT training (and free access to any advanced training) as well as free CERT gear and will be certified by CERT as a California Disaster Assistance Worker. Work with first responders and other community volunteers to make our community safer and more resilient.
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.
About Northern Sonoma County CERT
26070 River Road, Cloverdale, CA 95425, US
Our trained Community Emergency Response Team are all incredible volunteers and wear many hats. They play a vital role in supporting our community in all kinds of emergencies, saving lives and ready to respond to medical emergencies, fires and major disasters. We are recognized by FEMA and by CAL Office of Emergency Services. We are chartered by the Cloverdale and Northern Sonoma County Fire Protection Districts. Assisting with first aid and shelter management at Temporary Refuge Areas and evacuation centers
