For thousands of West Michigan children, Sack Suppers mean school lunch doesn’t have to be the last meal of the day. With the help of volunteers, we provide the security and consistency of guaranteeing that meal each and every weekday.
Of the many volunteer opportunities available, one of our most critical volunteer opportunities is for being a Sack Supper delivery driver. These volunteers deliver so much more than meals to the dozens of schools and summer sites we serve across West Michigan, they help provide comfort to the children who now know they have the nourishment they need to learn and live well.
Drivers come to Kids’ Food Basket on a scheduled day each week to deliver Sack Suppers to assigned schools. Depending on your location, driving shifts typically take 1-1.5 hours.
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.

Who We Are
Kids’ Food Basket is a grassroots, community solution to childhood hunger. We engage all who care about children reaching their full potential - in school and in life. We began over a decade ago by serving 125 kids each school day through our Sack Supper program and now serve approximately 8,800 kids each weekday in West Michigan.
