We are a food pantry and offer homebound delivery of groceries. There is an increasing need for volunteers to help us pull and pack groceries and deliver them to homebound individuals, primarily seniors.
The delivery is typically the same week each month. You have some flexibility within the designated week to choose the day and time, as long as the schedule works with the homebound individual(s).
Typically our volunteers will pack the groceries, load them in their cars and deliver the items within a 9 am - 4:30 pm window. You will deliver to 1-2 individuals.
Communication via phone will be needed to confirm the delivery date/time each month and to discuss the needed the grocery items. Typically a menu is provided to the volunteer to use to select the available items.

We are a choice pantry which means our pantry shoppers have the opportunity to choose the food that they prefer to eat or the items that they will use. Giving them a choice supports our commitment to honoring the dignity and humanity of all persons.
