HEARTS & HOMES FOR VETERANS INC
Currently looking for energetic volunteers for multiple positions. Hearts & Homes for Veterans Inc is a veteran nonprofit that serves homeless and low income veterans in Southwest Florida. We are in need of volunteers for administrative, operations, warehouse, and delivery. Not only will you have the ability to positively impact our community and its veteran population, but you will gain valuable experience which will look great on a resume! Volunteers will receive valuable training and experience in intake, nonprofit operations, warehousing, and/or home-goods/furniture delivery. Our mission is to end homelessness among the veteran population. We operate a food pantry, home-goods warehouse, emergency financial assistance program, as well as numerous other services in partnership with other nonprofit agencies.
We are currently in a growth spurt that has dramatically increased our need for volunteers. No matter what your skill set is, we will find a place for you to truly make a difference in this world. Some positions will be transitioned to paid positions in the future...especially for those that perform well. Volunteers do NOT have to be veterans, so please don't let that stop you from applying.
If you want to lay your head on your pillow at night with a sense of accomplishment, knowing that you made a difference in someone's life...then look no further! Thank you for your time!
