Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc
  • Screen candidates resumes and job applications
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
  • Help coordinate interviews, and other recruiting efforts
  • Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
  • Monitor and apply recruiting best practices
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Champion inclusion and diversity in the recruitment process to drive team results
  • Assist with training and mentoring recruiting coordinators and other recruiters
  • Create a seamless and efficient candidate experience that results in a positive impression of Skill Relays, regardless of the outcome
Skills Required
  • High organizational skills required
  • Ability to interact with others positively and professionally
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent phone/video etiquette
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good customer service skills
  • Highly self-motivated and driven to go above and beyond what is required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc)
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check etc)
  • Strong eye for talent and an excellent ability to connect candidates with the right opportunities
Experience Required
  • Minimum two years of experience as a recruiter
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Candidate must be based in the United States
