Come help put food on the shelves for our neighbors in need!
Do you who want to make a significant impact on our participant's lives? By preparing the food pantry for the afternoon distribution! We serve about 50-70 households each day M-F.
We have available volunteer shifts on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30AM-12:00PM.
Volunteers need to be able to lift at least 20 lbs, and wear closed toed shoes.
Tasks include unloading deliveries of food, checking expiration dates, stocking shelves and refrigerators and freezers, breaking down boxes, cleaning the work area, putting up the line stanchions and canopies, and other tasks related to the food bank.

Pathways of Hope is a nonprofit organization that serves families and individuals throughout North Orange County. For 47 years Pathways of Hope has been providing food, shelter and support and prevention services to the hungry, homeless and marginalized through assistance of local congregations, volunteers, businesses and grants from foundations and government agencies.
The Pathways of Hope HUB of Hope offers emergency food and hygiene items to homeless and low-income families and individuals as well as a walk-up center for individuals and families seeking housing assistance.

Description
Pathways of Hope is committed to rebuilding lives of the hungry and homeless in Orange County through Housing, Outreach, Prevention, and Engagement. Once a family or individual has become homeless, the path back to stability can be very challenging. Pathways of Hope offers several housing options to fit different situations, all with the goal of helping families and individuals re-gain permanent housing as quickly as possible. Pathways of Hope operates a resource center, the HUB of Hope, which offers emergency food and hygiene items to homeless and low-income families and individuals in Orange County.
