As a non-profit that is led by the community, for the community, we need your help in engaging the community around the importance of rescuing dogs. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to help behind the scenes virtually!
We need help to communicate the education and our work with the world effectively and keep our blogs up to date. We are looking for an experienced blog writer who has worked on successful blogs before to help us write monthly updates for our website (via Wix).
This volunteer role has the potential to significantly improve our campaigns and thus will directly impact how many people we can reach and educate.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Availability to post monthly on various topics of your choosing.
- Good communication skills with the core rescue team monthly to finalize topics
Qualifications:
- A genuine interest in rescue doggos!
- Proven writing experience for blogs
- Experience with branding and marketing strategies is a plus
- Understanding or willingness to learn about animal welfare
