We are seeking a new graphic designer to join our dynamic team. For this fast growing international NGO, you will be designing a wide variety of things across digital and offline media. To be successful in this position, you’ll be a self-starter, working remotely, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, and show amazing attention to written content and graphic detail and be a team player.

Graphic Designer Responsibilities:

  • Planning concepts by studying relevant information and brand manual materials of the organisation.
  • Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.
  • Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software for approval by Divisional Lead.
  • Proof read Digital Marketing written content.
  • Contributing to team efforts by supporting and accomplishing tasks as needed.
  • Communicating with organisation team members about written content, layout and design.
  • Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for organisation product illustrations, program initiative logos, website updates and relevant graphic design software.
  • Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.

Graphic Designer Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
  • Prepared of volunteer a 18 hrs a month to the organisation.
  • Have experience as a graphic designer or in related field for at least 3 years.
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
  • Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign Quark, CANVA and Illustrator.
  • A strong eye for visual composition, written content and detail.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
  • Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, service marketing, advertisements, and multimedia design.
  • Be able to support organisation marketing on all social media platforms.
  • Experience with computer-aided design.
  • Be proficient in Google Drive Management, Trello, Slack and Clockify.
