We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about our mission to promote sustainability, increase accessibility to educational resources and have experience in writing or marketing. Our PR & Marketing committee is designed to help us develop a month-by-month plan for marketing outreach and work together to be sure all possible social media outlets are operating effectively. This committee will be very forward thinking, proactive and fast-paced. Meetings are all virtual and the work is remote.
Experience in graphic design, public relations writing social media networking and PR is preferred but not required. This is an excellent opportunity for college students who are seeking experience in their desired field.

For over 30 years, Arts & Scraps has reimagined recycled materials to inspire people of all ages to think, create and learn.
Description
Arts & Scraps is open to the public to stuff bags with safe, accessible recycled industrial materials. We also host educational and curriculum-based field trips, on site workshops for children and adults and create art and curriculum kits for 10 to 35 students. We bring activity tables to events throughout the Metro Detroit Area. Our warehouse uses volunteers of all abilities to sort, pack and prepare materials for our programs and learning kits.
