Board members help advance the mission of the Solano Symphony Orchestra through contributions of their time, talent, resources and ambassadorship. You will be helping make a difference in Solano County's cultural life by promoting our Symphony to the local community, merchants and patrons of the arts.
Join us and help shape the future of our Symphony! Several volunteer positions are currently available to help support marketing, recruiting, operations, fundraising and community and youth outreach efforts. The Board meets once per month on the second Wednesday of each month (via Zoom until further notice due to COVID-19).
The mission of the Solano Symphony Orchestra is to entertain and enrich the lives of our diverse audiences by contributing to the cultural and economic vitality of our communities.
Under the baton of Maestro Semyon Lohss, an honor graduate of the Leningrad Conservatory with more than 30 years experience in orchestral and choral conducting, the Solano Symphony Orchestra performs five concerts each season in Vacaville, Calif. Additionally, the Symphony Board and Musicians work to engage youth in our community to expand their knowledge in music and showcase their talent through our annual Young Artist Competition and Salute to Youth Concert.
