During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Board members help advance the mission of the Solano Symphony Orchestra through contributions of their time, talent, resources and ambassadorship. You will be helping make a difference in Solano County's cultural life by promoting our Symphony to the local community, merchants and patrons of the arts.
Join us and help shape the future of our Symphony! Several volunteer positions are currently available to help support marketing, recruiting, operations, fundraising and community and youth outreach efforts. The Board meets once per month on the second Wednesday of each month (via Zoom until further notice due to COVID-19).

The mission of the Solano Community Symphony is to develop a quality community symphony drawing from local skilled musicians, and to create an opportunity for them to utilize, express, and develop their talents. Secondly, the organization is to perform for local audiences for their enjoyment, and for the advancement of the Arts in the area.
Under the baton of maestro Semyon Lohss, an honor graduate of the Leningrad Conservatory with nearly 30 years experience in orchestral and choral conducting, our symphony performs five concerts each season. Each concert is performed in Vacaville. SSO also works to engage youth in our community to expand their knowledge in music and showcase their talent through our annual Young Artist Competition and Salute to Youth Concert.
We'll work with your schedule.
