NoSchoolViolence needs a website development team to create a newl social media site. Our goal is to help children become more compassionate and empathetic through their sharing (video, text, photos) of their love and care for pets. Children generally live in a world that does not actively promote empathy, compassion, dialoguing, anti-bullying or emotional intelligence. We want to correct that deficiency and indifference. We want to give thousands of children the opportunity to chat about their pets, about how to care for them, and for how much they love their dogs, cats, hamsters, reptiles, fish, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, and pet poultry/livestock. Join our team and do something good.

Here are some general requirements:
* experience in website design and able to create mockups and wireframes.
* knowledge of web development tools

We look forward to hearing from you and hope you can provide 3 to 5 hours a week to devote to this project. We cannot be successful in reducing school violence unless we can help children become more empathetic and compassionate. We are revolutionaries who value love and respect. Thank you.

Mission Statement

NoSchoolViolence is a Seattle-based behavioral research-data analytics organization. Its goal is to develop a variety of proactive approaches to reducing school and youth violence. Its data analytics, social science research, administrative, and school outreach teams reside in Seattle, Washington, while other virtual volunteers live elsewhere in the U.S., the UK, Europe and India.

Description

The organization is a federal 501 (c) (3) (EIN: 82-1796339) and Washington state 501 (c) (3) (UBI# 603562651). Current partners include Microsoft, Elastic LLC, Alteryx, Washington State Capital Region ESD 113, Seattle Data for Good and the Seattle General Assembly. Conversations are in progress for partnerships with Google, Facebook, UNICEF, the CDC, university adolescent violence programs, and the Gates Foundation.
