Please Note: apply only if you know that you have between 3 to 5 hours a week to devote to this project. We cannot be successful in reducing school violence unless we can count on you. Thank you. NoSchoolViolence is working with the National Institute of justice to correlate school violence perpetrators with Domestic terrorists. We are conducting a rigorous research and evaluation project targeted toward developing a better understanding of the domestic radicalization phenomenon, and advancing evidence-based strategies for effective intervention and prevention. This includes research efforts that explore the radicalization of Americans, particularly a certain school violence group of perpetrators, to white nationalist extremism, and those exploring emerging militant left-wing movements, to identify and advance evidence-based strategies for effective intervention and prevention. We need help to conduct this research, so please apply if you are interested in contributing!

Virtual Opportunity
NoSchoolViolence.org is a non-profit research institute focused on developing a better understanding of school violence and converting our research into actionable insights and programs. We are a different type of institute because we are developing big data driven apps to reveal unknown patterns and trends underlining school violence. We need researchers committed to investigating psychological, social, economic and cultural factors having a significant role in school violence. We are developing databases that provide data visualization insights from pattern analysis, treating each shooting as an ecosystem of interrelated components. This is a different approach to school violence because 99% of existing data on school violence are trend reports having little ability to analysed in terms of what causes school violence patterns. If you are interested in getting involved, all we ask is that you have access to a laptop or desktop computer, and that you can spend 3 hours weekly on this project. Please do not contact us unless you clearly have that time available. We can help train you if you do not have experience with research.

Virtual Opportunity
NoSchoolViolence needs a web developer familiar with Wix app to help build a social media platform that helps children learn to be empathetic and compassionate. Our research has shown a pattern in 14,432 school shooters having the inability to be empathetic. They have been bullied so much that they no longer have the capacity to feel the pain, sorrow and sadness that other children have. Your help would prove invaluable in developing a social media platform focused on using pets and animals as triggers for children to learn and live empathy as well as compassion, kindness and respect. We'd love to talk with you.

Virtual Opportunity
NoSchoolViolence has completed a research survey showing that 67% of children ages 5-18 have little opportunity to learn how to be empathetic and compassionate. The majority of children in the United States are surrounded with violence, both virtually and in real life. A steady diet of violence arguably has the impact of minimizing a child's ability to comprehend the value of empathy and compassion. Moreover, there is no national initiative focused on raising the empathy and compassion level that children can recognize. Significant research has shown that children who have pets are more likely to understand empathy and compassion. To help children develop empathetic and compassionate behaviors, NoSchoolViolence is in the planning stages of developing a social media website in which children can share their pets. The site would allow them to upload videos and photographs and tax content that could be shared with other children around the world with the hope that thousands of connections will reinforce the compassion and empathy that children have for their pets. NoSchoolViolence seeking the help of veterinarians, pre-vet majors, and animal behaviorists (occupational as well as students) to help us better understand how we might go about this process. We will need volunteers for maybe three hours to discuss the project.
