Creative Emajinations is seeking a video editor to edit footage from previous dance rehearsals. The footage will be used to upload to our Youtube channel which will help engage youth to stay active, youth that are not able to access our online virtual services a=can participate while not attending a scheduled class. We look forward to working with you to help bring this project to life we appreciate your time and consideration to help for such a great cause.
Video Editor Duties/Functions/Responsibilities
- receiving a brief, and maybe an outline of footage and/or a shot list, script, or screenplay;
- digitally cutting the files to put together the sequence of the film and deciding what is usable;
- creating a 'rough cut' (or assembly edit) of the programme/film and determining the exact cutting for the next and final stages;
- Manipulating and editing film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
- Reviewing shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
