FoodCycle LA is a hunger relief nonprofit. Our program bases are located in the communities we serve. Strict controls will be maintained to promote health and safety at all times.
The start date for this position is January 25th, 2021.
Position Purpose
We aim to work with creatives (videographers) that live in and are connected to the communities we work alongside. Creatives document our hunger relief work and, most importantly, capture stories from community members, volunteers and staff to inspire others to advance our mission.
This is a ongoing, volunteer position (frequency: 2 days per month (1st and 3rd Wednesday); the creative will partner with FoodCycle LA to capture video and images on a monthly basis at the selected program location.

We connect excess food to people in need .FoodCycle is building an infrastructure to reduce waste and intelligently route surplus food-whether it’s to people’s plates or composting. Through our efforts, we’re changing individual behaviors, and ultimately, we'll change the culture around food waste.
FoodCycle is seeking passionate and dedicated volunteers to help further our mission in fighting hunger and ending food waste. We need volunteers on an ongoing basis to recover food from various restaurants, grocery stores, and food markets around Los Angeles. In addition to Food Recovery Drivers, we are looking for assistance building up our social media presence across all platforms.
