Field Warehouse Coordinator Reports To

Regional Operations Manager

This servant leadership role is responsible for coordinating warehousing activity in a specific region of Celestial Manna distribution. This Coordinator will manage all aspects of strategic warehouses assigned. With reporting provided by the Tech team, Field Warehouse Coordinators will coordinate with the corresponding Field Coordinators the storage of surplus food in the warehouses. The successful candidate will contribute to improved volunteer engagement, reporting compliance, and operational outcomes. New grads are welcomed to apply. The incumbent will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Warehouse utilization reports
• Attend and report at Operations huddles
• Work with coordinators and volunteers to minimize waste and optimize warehouse usage
• Assist with pick-up schedule compliance
• Coordinating with other distribution sites to manage capacity
• Manage relationships with local food banks
• Assists with the setup and launch of new warehouse distribution points

Qualifications

The person in this position would ideally have the following qualifications:

Education level:

• High school diploma

Experience:

• Distribution management or leadership
• Managing direct reports
• Process Improvement implementation
• Servsafe manager training a plus
• Food safety training a plus

Specific skills:

• Google Sheets
• Google Suite
• Microsoft Suite
• Virtual meeting facilitation
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
