This key volunteer role is a servant-leadership position requiring leadership through influence and communication. The Operations Administrator will support Celestial Manna by relaying incoming requests from potential volunteers, donors, and people seeking information about Celestial Manna. The Operations Administrator at the "Virtual Level 1 Help Desk" will more often be the first voice that people expressing interest in Celestial Manna will hear! The successful candidate, through these efforts, will have helped improve the efficiency of our new volunteer intake process, increase donations received, allow other functional leaders to focus on core responsibilities, improve reporting compliance, and help position Celestial Manna to receive more assistance and funding.

Responsibilities and Duties

The incumbent will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Conduct initial conversations with potential volunteers and route them to the appropriate hiring manager
• Manage and update the incoming contact database list
• Assist potential donors and direct them to the right payment and /or fundraising resources
• Complete incoming requests for information on Celestial Manna
• Update and manage CM communication plan
• Assist Coordinators in need with follow-ups for reporting compliance

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

Education:

• Diploma
• Balance of education with experience

Experience:

• Customer service
• Sales
• Office administration
• Call center
• Facilitation of virtual meetings via Zoom, Google Meet, or Webex

Specific skills:

• Comfortable communicating with groups as well as individuals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Microsoft Suite
• Willing to become an expert in G Suite, now called Google Workspace
