MLK Day 2021 Operation D.R.E.A.M. (Dedicated Readers Excel And Motivate)

Project begins January 18, 2021 and ends February 19, 2021.

In observance of MLK Day and wishing to bring forth Dr. Martin Luther King's message of freedom, equality, justice and love, we are coordinating a community service project in the counties of Marin, Napa, Solano and Sonoma.

We are requesting your support by donating new bookmarks or sending us ones you color yourself. If you would like to instead include a handwritten notecard, please feel free. We encourage you to let your creativity shine.

Ways to help with bookmark donations:

Use your creativity and decorate one side of a bookmark or include a handwritten notecard with an inspirational message and mail it to CVNL's office in your county below.

If you would like to use a bookmark template as inspiration or to color, find them here.

About Center for Volunteer & Nonprofit Leadership

Location:

65 Mitchell Blvd., Ste. 101, SAN RAFAEL, CA 94903, US

Mission Statement

We know that passion alone isn't enough when it comes to creating strong nonprofits. That's why we work with aspiring and established leaders every day to help them build the skills and connections that can take their impact to the next level. With confident and prepared leaders, our nonprofits will be better equipped to create healthy, happy communities. CVNL has engaged individuals in volunteerism continuously for more than 50 years and expanded to Napa county in July 2014. Every day, passionate individuals like you dedicate their work to advancing our communities, vulnerable populations, natural landscapes, and cultural institutions. But without the critical know-how in operational essentials like fundraising, board governance, and volunteer recruitment, their causes may fall short of their potential. CVNL brings local leaders the expert guidance and professional resources they need to build resilient, impactful organizations.
