Help raise urgently needed funds for biodiversity/nature and share the message about the work the Zimbabwe Youth Biodiversity Network (ZYBN) does. Even if you’ve never raised money before, you can succeed as a ZYBN fundraiser. Fundraising isn’t just about collecting money; it also entails effectively communicating why the donations are needed. If you have good communication skills, or want to improve in that area, then volunteering for a position that involves fundraising might be a good fit for you. We provide communication tips to make raising money easy and fun. You could also receive information on creative fundraising ideas; social media messages, and emails for you to share.

Description
ZYBN is a registered organization based in Harare and operates nationwide. It was established in October 2017 by the founding chapter coordinator two months after attending the first Africa capacity building workshop organized by the Global Youth Biodiversity Network, in South Africa, in August 2017. ZYBN aims to advocate for youth participation and inclusion in biodiversity conservation at all levels in Zimbabwe and to raise awareness about the importance of preserving biodiversity. ZYBN achieves its mission through engaging leaders, youth and communities with a focus on capacity building workshops, training, online campaigns and participating in national/international youth advocacy workshops/forums, among other things.
