Asian Women's Home is a program of AACI, an organization dedicated to community health and wellness. At AWH, we're proud to serve domestic violence and human trafficking survivors of Santa Clara County, California at no cost. Our legal, behavioral, housing, and other services empower our community to seek support and peace.

We're hosting our second virtual 40 hour DV training in Jan/Feb 2021! We’re open to volunteers and others who wish to be involved in their community. No prior experience is required, and all are encouraged to apply.

Our 8 day training provides an understanding of violence & trauma, advocacy, cultural competency, legal resources, and more. After training, you’ll be able to serve survivors in California directly and the certificate never expires.

We’ll meet for orientation on Friday January 22 nd 1-3pm. Training begins January 25 th 9am-5pm to February 10 th, M/W/F (we will NOT meet Tues/Thurs).

Training fees for volunteers are $75 with a commitment of 50 service hours. Community members pay $300 with no service commitment.

Currently, most volunteer opportunities are remote but we may consider reopening onsite opportunities when state guidelines reopen.

To express interest, please fill out: https://forms.gle/svUF7Vuei3JTzs6p8 and Neba Zaidi (AWH program coordinator) will reach out to you directly. Reach out to zaidi@aaci.org for more information.
