We are looking for a dynamic person who is passionate about ASL and bridging the gap between the deaf and hearing communit to lead our volunteers in weekly practice ASL sessions. This will be great for high school seniors, college students, graduate students or anyone versed in ASL. Each week, the ASL volunteer will lead a practice session with current volunteers to help them get a solid grasp on ASL aplhabet and be better prepared when interacting with other volunteers and/or guests who visit the center to help them to communicate on a introductory level the basics such as asking "Where is the bathroom?"
We are looking for a one hour per work week commitment beginning the second week of January 2021.. Day/time is flexible.
