Research Opportunity for Law Student: Anti-Trafficking Legislation - Volunteer Opportunity
Organization: One Bread Foundation, Inc. - Nationwide NGO Combating Human Trafficking
Time Commitment: 1.5 hours minimum per week
Location: Fully remote, San Francisco Bay Area-based organization with nationwide team
Overview: We are in the fight to End Human Trafficking in our country, One Bread Foundation, Inc. exists for the sole purpose of making grants for the Rehabilitation of Children and Teens rescued from Sex Trafficking nationwide.
The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate volunteer, preferably a law student, to join our team in the fight to end human sex trafficking in the United States. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful contribution.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research on current and pending legislation regarding child trafficking across all states.
- Identify and track legislators nationwide who are involved in anti-trafficking efforts.
- Maintain and update a database with legislative developments and monitor any changes or new proposals.
- Assist in updating the organization's website with the latest legislative information.
- Author legal opinions, with training and guidance provided by our team.
- Currently enrolled in a law program or recent law graduate.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to track and manage multiple pieces of legislation.
- Passion for human rights and a commitment to fighting human trafficking.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.

Everything One Bread Foundation does is focused on one goal: the sustained well-being of children, especially the most vulnerable.
100% of the funds we raise online through our participation in various affiliate programs gets donated to rehabilitate teens and children rescued from sex trafficking.
