Southern Rhode Island Volunteers
Volunteers needed to count meals on wheels received on Tuesday and/or Wednesday mornings from 8:30 am to 10:30 am in South Kingstown. The volunteer receives the meals which are packed for delivery to seniors from the caterer, counts the meals and checks to make sure the proper number and proper meals have been received for the seniors, as well as cold packs of milk or juice. The volunteer photocopies the delivery sheets and highlights for the volunteers who complete the delivery of meals. There is training for this position with SRIV staff.
