This project’s mission is to create and deliver the message of child safety online for marginalized communities in a way that would be understood by these communities, more specifically by children, and will also give information on how to seek help and/or report abuse. Specifically volunteers will be ensuring that all messages are culturally adapted to reach marginalized communities and be clearly understood.
This is a great opportunity for you to contribute to an international volunteer organization and to share your expertise. Through this position, you will be a liaison between the group advisors, multiple stakeholders and volunteers. This role will help you pursue careers in program and product management.
Working with the group advisors to develop and improve frameworks and communication channels for the different processes within the program;
Being the central point of contact for all experts and contributors within the program;
Delegating tasks to ensure the functioning of the program;
Acting as owner on all the documentation related to the program;
Sharing with the Program Management Group Managers updates, challenges and needs.
We are looking for individuals with the following qualifications:
Experience in program and project management;
Visionary outlook of the group’s contribution to TC’s mission;
Ability to identify problems and to use creativity and initiative to solve them;
Strong project management skills;
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to lead meetings;
Weekly commitment of at least 5 hours per week.

Our Language Digitization Initiative is enabling many languages to get their script online and partake to digital opportunities. Our volunteers are the heart and soul of our community. Their passion for language and their expertise in technology are the cornerstones of all our initiatives. Our activities are centered around career paths that volunteers can engage, experience and practice. Our platform offers over 40 free language related tools. Our courses and resources include a variety of language topics, all created by our volunteers. Our Covid-19 poster-maker is translated in over 350 languages and for the majority of these communities, our poster is the only Covid-19 information available in their language. Our volunteers also offer their help to other organizations responding to the Covid-19 crisis.
