We are seeking volunteers with an understanding of what it's like to live with a chronic illness, rare disease, invisible illness, or longterm covid complications to assist in managing our private social network. (think Facebook without the "noise")
Must be a good listener, encouraging, empathetic, compassionate and kind. You will be engaging with our members by commenting on their posts, chatting virtually and/or via zoom.
You will assist in planning posts, hangouts, managing special groups (such as our Rainbow Squad, Covid long haulers, Food Club, Book Club, Society and more).

Our mission is to send 100,000 cards of love + cheer to isolated illness warriors around the globe, thus providing hope and encouragement to positively affect their mental and emotional well-being as they navigate their health odyssey .
Description
Snail mail is our jam! We facilitate the sending of cards full of hope and encouragement to patients (we call them warriors;) across the USA and around the globe! We do this primarily via our cards2warriors program and the Warrior Card Swap.
Additionally, we provide virtual volunteer opportunities for employee teams, high school students across Florida, illness warriors who are seeking purpose, and kids/teens/adults who loves to color and make cards! :)
