Hospice volunteering can be an invaluable opportunity to gain professional and personal growth while assisting those who are in need. Contributing to the Hospice patient's quality of life is an urgent need. Non-medical volunteering is needed in the Bartlesville area. Come join our team! Volunteers are an essential part of our interdisciplinary team. Compassus Hospice volunteers serve in a multitude of ways, including offering patient companionship such as reading a book, engaging in conversation, active listening, creating a Life Book to assist in helping patient process memories. Volunteers may also assist with special events such as memorial services and veteran pinning ceremonies. Bereavement care volunteers attend grief groups and offer compassionate care to the families in attendance.
