Pets are often the only thing an unhoused individual has to care about, and many shelters don’t allow pets. Working with shelters to make them pet-friendly also allows us to work with these individuals who are often the most in need and often have a higher potential to build a better future...two lives at a time. Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities: PalsNPets is a young nonprofit that is quickly growing and is looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to assist. The Volunteer manager will work with about 10 volunteers, collecting information from them during resident check ins, among other duties: Organize documents and information received from residents through google docs, sheets, experience with excel formulas. Other organizational duties as required Requirements: Good communication and writing skills Detail oriented and well-organized Volunteers can work remotely. The time commitment is flexible, about 5 hours per week.
