Come help us out at the Our City Forest Community Nursery & Training Center every Thursday! Rain or shine, it's always a lovely day here at the nursery to get out and play with some dirt. From weeding to DIY soil batches to transplant our trees and shrubs, to even any woodworking or art projects we are getting done. You get to help us out with any and all projects that we are tackling to help keep all our trees & plants happy and healthy. As we say at the Nursery, there's always something to do, and we are asking you for help.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to cultivate a green and healthy Silicon Valley by engaging community members in the appreciation, protection, growth and maintenance of our urban ecosystem, especially our urban forest.
Description
The ultimate goal of the program is to facilitate the planting of one million trees in Silicon Valley, utilizing one million people. We have planted over 70,000 trees in San Jose, encouraging community members to join us in improving the environmental conditions of their communities. We focus on making a healthy urban forest accessible to all by offering services targeted towards disadvantaged communities because we believe a healthy environment should be available to all people, not just those who have the resources to access it.
