During these uncertain times, how can we help?

Mesa Veterans Resource Center offers a variety of services to veterans and their families in the East Valley. We believe in a holistic approach to serving our veterans in order to promote their resilience and well-being. That is why in addition to our regular offerings such as veterans benefits assistance and emergency resources, we'd like to offer recreational events where veterans can engage in self-care and strengthen their social network.
We're looking for motivated volunteers to lead these recreational events for veterans at the MVRC. These events can include yoga classes, art classes, and more. If you have a specialty you'd like to share with our community's veterans, please reach out to us and let's see what we can do.
To maintain the safety of everyone involved, the CDC's social distancing guidelines will be maintained. Classes can be conducted outdoor in our garden or inside in our training room. Attendance will be limited to maintain social distancing and facial coverings will be required. Each class will be conducted once or twice a month. Hours and schedules will be worked out with the volunteer instructor.
