We are seeking a writer who is tuned-in to the world of good food and wants to publish for Slow Food Minnesota. You'll be in charge of researching what is happening with local, sustainable farmers, chefs, and food activists in the community and telling the stories that are often missed or overlooked.

At the start, you'll dig for articles of what grassroots food leaders and organizations are working on and provide a weekly roundup of what's going on in the world of good, clean, fair food. Food justice, sustainability, worker's rights. Your roundup should share with the food community:
1. Stories that bring joy and hope by highlighting work being done
2. Stories that highlight ways we can take action toward food justice

Once you feel comfortable with the cadence of this role, you'll have the opportunity to reach out to food leaders in the community directly. Then, you'll be the one seeking out the people whose stories are not being told, and writing, recording, or filming content that highlights those folks and their journey.

Mission Statement

"We are a 'bridge builder' in the social change ecosystem. Finding people doing this amazing work and bringing them together. We need to be recognized in the space as a better partner, willing and interested in being both allies and accomplices to people doing the good work." - Dan Mueller, Slow Food USA
