Mission Statement

"We are a 'bridge builder' in the social change ecosystem. Maybe our role isn't so programmatic, but looking at how we can serve as the hub or the touch point to connect all the work that's happening. Finding people doing this amazing work and bringing them together. We need to be recognized in the space as a better partner, willing and interested in being both allies and accomplices to people doing the good work." - Dan Mueller, Slow Food USA

Slow Food is a place where you can connect with the work of joy and justice in our community. Food justice means good, clean, fair food for all.

Our commitment is connecting you to the incredible work that is happening in our own backyards. And, to connect community leaders doing the work with national and international leaders and resources to help them along the way.

We are farmers, home cooks, vintners, musicians, chefs, wine lovers, moms and dads, grocers, brewers, writers, nutritionists, students, bakers, lawyers, engineers-united in our support for good, clean, fair food that is equitable, just, and inclusive.
