We need a volunteer who is familiar with Squarespace, Facebook Events and Eventbrite to add, update and manage events.

You will be in charge of digging up local and virtual events that align with good, clean, fair food for all. Food equity, food justice, sustainable farming, food workers, chefs, indigenous food ways, and more. Your work will connect our community to impactful events happening in the Twin Cities. You'll also decide which Slow Food USA and Slow Food International events to add to our local calendars.

On a task-based level, you'll add events to our Squarespace website (slowfoodmn.org/events-calendar), to our Facebook page, and to our Eventbrite. You'll post about events to get the word out, and make sure that they're included in newsletters.

There is an enormous opportunity for growth into a leadership role within the chapter, and ultimately the larger national and international organization. Through your work you'll have consistent opportunities to connecting with local, national, and international food leaders that are part of the Slow Food movement.

Mission Statement

Finding people doing this amazing work and bringing them together. We need to be recognized in the space as a better partner, willing and interested in being both allies and accomplices to people doing the good work." - Dan Mueller, Slow Food USA
