In-Person Volunteering - Motel Kids Christmas Party

Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic, in Orange County, the Christmas Holidays will look different this year. However, the NEED is greater than ever. Help us give children from low-income families, living in motels, some Christmas Cheer!

On December 19th we will be holding our Motel Kids Christmas party. This may be the only opportunity for presents and treats for these children.

VOLUNTEERS: We need volunteers to help hand out lunch boxes, Stocking Crafts, Treat bags, Take Pictures at Photo op and help kids pick a gift at Santa's Workshop. All by make sure everyone is social distancing, wearing masks and adhering to event appointment times.

We will be setting up "stations" for the give-a-ways and party-goers will have a specific time slot to go through the pickup lines. Volunteers will also be needed to help guide the families to insure COVID-19 protocols are being followed.

GHH's mission is to Empower the Invisible Populations of Orange County by targeting those who truly slip between the cracks of other programs, with a specific focus on serving those who are ineligible for or who have significant difficulty accessing other organizations' services. We accomplish this through three core programs: GHH's Rescued and Restored Housing Program, Nana's Kidz program, and HopeWorks!
