Central Arts Alliance is searching for new board members dedicated to their mission of providing arts and culture opportunities for all through education, programming, and advocacy. The purpose of this position is to support the process for identifying and stewarding the mission and purpose of Phoenix Center for the Arts (PCA). In addition, this position aids with the selection and support of the Chief Executive Officer, facilitates the availability of adequate resources, shares fiduciary responsibility for the organization, and ensures legal and ethical accountability.
Prospective Board Members should have a passion for arts accessibility for all, willingness to be a strong and vocal ambassador for arts education, programming, and advocacy, and be committed to equitable practices in every aspect of operations.

Description
Phoenix Center for the Arts is a Central Arts Alliance facility located adjacent to Hance Park, at 1202 N Third Street in Downtown Phoenix. Central Arts Alliance is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, providing arts and culture opportunities for all through education, programming, and advocacy. Phoenix Center for the Arts is proud to be a facility of and supported by the City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department. Phoenix Center for the Arts is supported in part by an award from the Arizona Commission on the Arts, an agency of the State of Arizona. Partial funding provided by the Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture through appropriations from the Phoenix City Council.
