Mission Statement

Phoenix Center for the Arts provides arts and culture opportunities for all through education, programming, and advocacy. Proporcionar oportunidades artísticas y culturales para todos a través de la educación, la programación y el apoyo. The Center strives to be the premiere provider of arts and cultural experiences that improve, stimulate, and unite the communities we serve. The Center será el principal proveedor de las artes y experiencias artísticas y culturales que mejoran, estimulan y unen a las comunidades a las que servimos.

Description

Phoenix Center for the Arts is a Central Arts Alliance facility located adjacent to Hance Park, at 1202 N Third Street in Downtown Phoenix. Central Arts Alliance is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, providing arts and culture opportunities for all through education, programming, and advocacy. Phoenix Center for the Arts is proud to be a facility of and supported by the City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department. Phoenix Center for the Arts is supported in part by an award from the Arizona Commission on the Arts, an agency of the State of Arizona. Partial funding provided by the Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture through appropriations from the Phoenix City Council.

This is such a delightful organization to volunteer for. Can you imagine, donating your time and in return, being surrounded by creativity. Come lend a hand, earn some free classes and feel good while doing so.

It was so much fun! I got to work with kids and it was a blast!
