The Volunteer Recognition Team Member works to ensure the volunteer workforce is recognized for their contributions to our organization.

Responsibilities:
Work within Volunteer Connection to run reports on volunteer birthdays and anniversaries
Create and send birthday or anniversary greetings
Partner with the engagement team to plan and execute recognition events
Work with department leads to plan department-specific events or to recognize specific groups of volunteers

Preferred Qualities:
Organized
Passionate about the Red Cross Mission
Computer literate
Willing to make calls as needed
Prior event planning experience

Safety First! Our need for volunteers is constant and our guidelines reflect the latest CDC safety recommendations and follow the national and local government laws. COVID-19 vaccination is strongly encouraged and is required for in-person volunteer roles.
