Parkinson's Foundation Tennessee and Kentucky

The Parkinson’s Foundation makes life better for people with Parkinson’s disease by improving care and advancing research toward a cure. In everything we do, we build on the energy, experience and passion of our global Parkinson’s community.

We are looking for people that are passionate about stationary cycling and Parkinson's Disease to help us raise funds to provide the research, programs and services that we need to make life better for people with Parkinson's.

The event will take place Saturday April 10th at a cycling location in the Nashville area. Final location has not yet been determined and may need to take place outdoors due to COVID.

Description

Parkinson’s Foundation Tennessee and Kentucky Chapter hosts annual fundraising walk events in Nashville, Knoxville and Kentucky known as Moving Day. It is a fun and inspiring fundraising event that unites families, friends and communities both large and small in the fight against Parkinson’s disease. This celebration of movement will feature a family friendly walk course, a kids area, a caregivers relaxation tent and a special Movement Pavilion featuring yoga, dance, Tai Chi, Pilates, etc. all proven to help manage the symptoms of PD. Multiple other volunteer opportunities spanning a variety of events.
